(20 minutes)
Come and Quiet your Mind as you seek the Divine.
This
spiritual experience provides an opportunity to
rest in the silence and deepen our awareness of Spirit
within us. A facilitator will briefly open by reading a
thought for the day and will close by stating the
affirmation once again. The time between the two
readings - about 15 minutes - will be held in sacred
silence.

Recognition: There is a Power for
Good in the Universe.
Unification: I can use It, for I am
One with It/in It/as It!
Realization: As I open my mind to
inquire about the “problem” I want to solve, I also
open my mind to the Power that has the answers, the
guidance and the support to lead me into the perfect
resolution I seek!
Thanksgiving: I gratefully accept this personal, perfect
response to my quest!
Release: I relax into the answer to
my prayer. I receive. I am blessed. And so it is!

OSC'S SPECIAL BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION & ANNUAL MEETING
TAPPING OUR ROOTS – A celebration of OSC’s 4th
Birthday will present a very special ritual that
explores and recognizes the Science of Mind’s roots
in the ancient wisdom traditions. (Those of you who
have experienced the Cosmic Walk with Bill Schmidt
will recognize a similar approach to ritual here;
Bill is back, facilitating this exciting, moving and
very interesting one!) DON’T MISS THIS!
A
very short and un-business (for the most part)
members’ meeting will follow the ritual. Plan to
stay and enjoy birthday cake!
The Core Council is proud and
pleased to announce that two nominees to the Core
Council have stepped forward to fill two vacancies.
