Our second gathering, October 8, which included the challenge of trying out a new format and also competition with the Vikings tailgaters for parking, was a success! We had 35 attendees--and several new visitors. We would very much like to know if anyone failed to find a parking space and went back home. Please send an email and let us know!

Our topic was a big one: The Magnetic Law of Attraction.  We will continue looking at how we attract and how we can be more in charge of what we attract into our lives in the next few weeks, applying The Law of Attraction to our beliefs about abundance, acceptance, attention, and allowing.

Rev. Nancy gave us some homework Sunday, explaining that as magnetic Beings, we attract that which we already are--what we already believe and have been thinking. Her assignment was, if you care to accept it, to make a list of your characteristics, good and bad--everything you know and notice about yourself, taking a couple of days to complete the list. Then give the list a label: As a magnetic Being, this is what I am attracting to me, in other people and in all aspects of my Life.Realizations about your life from this exercise are valuable; you can take it a step further by deciding to change the things about yourself that you do not want more of.

We'll be looking at how to change our thinking and our lives next Sunday and each succeeding Sunday.

Next Sunday, Oct 15, we will examine The Law of Abundance.

The One Power in the Universe is All Good.  The Universe withholds nothing from its creation.  Spirit within gives my words power to co-create an abundance of good in my world.

I choose to dwell on the things and attract the things I desire.  I keep my thoughts positive and constructive.  I expect and accept an abundance of physical and financial well-being, healthy, happy relationships, and exuberance and energy for Life.  God supports me in every way.

"Any idea held steadfastly in mind is bound to reproduce itself.  It's the Law."
